  1. "Renae from Nichol-Gunn Equestrian was fantastic in ensuring that the pony she was selling was a good match for my family. She was honest and upfront about the pony's strengths and weaknesses and really cared for the wellbeing and competence of both my children and the pony. We adore our new friend Dutch and will back to see Renae in the future for another pony". a few days later.. "Dutch is such a super little guy, 1st ride since he got here and we went out for a little trail ride.. Izzy and Dutch are besties already.. we love him so much.. Thankyou for bringing him into our life xx"
  2. Renae’s knowledge of horses has helped me get my confidence back and I now can say I am a very confident rider. Renae was very particular with the type of horse that she believed would suit my ability. I was very unsure of getting Jasper but Renae assured me that he would look after me and that I could trust him. In the past few years of owning Jasper any issues or questions I’ve had about my horse, I have gone to Renae first and she has been more than happy to give advice and help out. Her advice has always been spot on and extremely helpful. I would recommend Renae to anyone who is looking for a horse to become a life long friend that you can trust and bond with.
  3. As a result I now have a beautiful mare, who is everything & more that they said she was, has no vices & is a pleasure to be around. It is great to meet someone who obviously cares for her horses, but moreso meet someone for the first time & feel you have known them for years. I have no hesitation in referring anyone looking to purchase a horse to Renae as they will come home with a well suited horse, matched to the riders abilities.. I know, I did. Again, thankyou Renae, keep doing what you do so well.

  4. Peppa is just fantastic. She is a youngster who is very patient and willing to learn. We do alot of ground work and lungeing and she is always responsive and never has an attitude problem. Our riding is coming along slowly but that suits both of us as there is no rush and we have plenty of time. She is so responsive and smart, I am now looking at teaching her a few tricks so am just waiting for my books to arrive! You were great help finding the right horse for me and it was certainly worth the wait for the right one to come

  5. I purchased a bay STB from Renae, Teddy, and he is everything I have been searching for. Teddy has perfect ground manners and is just soo good to be around, whether riding or just hanging out together. I had been searching for a horse for a long time and came across Renae's website and contacted her. I suppose I just knew this was the person I would buy a horse from, and we both took a punt on each other, I bought Teddy unseen and Renae sold him to me buyer unseen!! The kids love him and he just takes everything in his stride, geese included. I have learnt so much over the past few months and would recommend Renae. Not only was Teddy in absolute perfect condition but the follow up help and care has been just the best!!!
  6. All those who attended the clinic have said to book Renae in next year to come back monthly!!! Renae ran this Clinic in a well planned and well organised manner. It ran smoothly and Renae had the full attention of each every participant for the whole day. We just couldn't get enough of her. Renae's passion for horses, horsemanship and the plight of the standardbred is clear and obvious. Each participant went home with positive advice for their horse and themselves to work with. Another really important part of the clinic is that during the many subjects covered throughout the day, Renae backed up and supported our Club Instructor and reinforced subjects and topics that our Club Instructor has covered in the past as well. So Thank you so much Renae for a fantastic learning day for us, hope you are not too tired today, please come back soon. We would definitely recommend to all that if the opportunity arises to attend a clinic with Renae.

  7. Just writing to give you a progress report on Amber Vision (Aubrey). He has a lovely temperament and has settled in very well. He is a carrot addict and perhaps this explains why he is so easy to catch. Have started to ride him through Wombat Estate Forest. He is slowly relaxing - the environment must be light years away from what he is used to - but he is doing very well. Thankyou so much for sending us this lovely boy. Allen [who has alot of experience with horses] keeps telling me I don't know how lucky I am - Aubrey is so easy going and great to work with. When we started looking for a horse that was suitable for someone returning to riding i.e: reasonably bomb proof, it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Aubrey is everything that we hoped he would be. Once again, thankyou very much.
